The 2023-24 console table collection

Adam Williams Design is delighted to present their console table collection for 2023-24.

This console table collection features seven completely new console tables, showcasing the best of Adam’s distinctive style.

The console tables are a combination of deeply sculptural influence, drawing on silhouettes and colourways from the renaissance period. Yet they have an abstract twist that brings a unique and modern feel to this year’s console table collection.

Adam’s designers for this console table collection has an eclectic inspiration: from nature and renaissance details to swords and feathers. Each table would make a unique centrepiece to show off a sculpture, artwork or accessory.

The final designs in the collection have a more conservative feel. They use a more minimal structure and attention to detail to bring a slightly different slant to a console table.

The Harewood console table uses elegantly simple and fluid shapes to combine elements of a classic design with a modern feel.  Made in flamed bronze with a white limestone top.

The flute draws its inspiration from swords and scabbards and sickles. Each leg is unique giving an assymetric form underneath the table. It has a hammered steel frame, sprayed with a hot bronze metal, and finished with a burnished gold paint effect hand-painted to achieve the mottled look. The table top is slate.

A personal favourite console table of Adam’s, the Silhouette was a playful design, taking the swords-inspired Flute to the next level. The legs come in pairs adding a symmetry among the abstract shapes.

The origins of design for this console table are rooted in organic structures: tree branches and roots. With a natural flow, the table design carefully marries a softer organic feel, with sharp, thorn-like edges.

Moving into a more minimal style, the figura console table uses delicately tapered legs and a bracket on the finish to take a simple table, and turn it into an elegant feature.

The heavily beaten legs of the viribus console table require much craftmanship. The lion’s claw feet give a nod to a Georgian console table.

All our console tables are constructed with a steel frame and overlaid with a bronze finish (not paint). This ensures they have a hard-wearing finish that exudes light and showcases blacksmith skills.

Every design in this new console table collection can be handmade to your size and specifications, from the deeply dramatic to the elegantly simple.

All our console tables are handmade to order at our workshop in Somerset and have a wide selection of tops and finishes to choose from including marble and limestone.
