Franklin Smooth Console Table

Where the textured Franklin celebrates the marks of the maker, this version takes a different path entirely, one of sleek, refined restraint that lets the extraordinary quality of the metalwork speak entirely through its form and finish. The same elegantly tapered legs and spare, linear frame are here finished in flamed bronze, a process that draws deep, complex tones from the metal itself, rich dark browns and cooler charcoal notes that shift and deepen depending on the light, giving the surface a quiet intensity that grows more beautiful with time. The indented detailing running the length of each leg adds a subtle rhythm without interrupting the overall sense of pared-back sophistication. Topped with an ebony granite whose pure, jet-black surface amplifies the darkness of the bronze work beneath.
