About Adam

In his early 20s, Adam apprenticed at Wells Cathedral, learning the discipline and craft of stone restoration. Those formative years shaped everything that followed, an understanding of classical form, material mastery, and the meticulous attention that separates craft from mere production. The cathedral’s sculptural language became his foundation.

In the early 1990s, Adam founded Triton Stone, translating those lessons into original sculptural designs. He created moulds and commissioned cast pieces, Lion, Stag, Wild Boar, Kinsale Hounds, each one a distillation of his artistic vision. These weren’t merely decorative garden ornaments; they were works of art rooted in classical tradition and contemporary sensibility.

For the past 20 years, Adam has channelled his passion into bespoke metalwork, collaborating with the world’s leading interior designers and architects. Every technique learned at Wells, every principle honed at Triton Stone, informed his furniture practice.

Now the studio expands to embrace both disciplines equally. These Triton Stone originals, cast from moulds Adam created decades ago, return to the practice alongside his continued metalwork. Garden designers and private collectors seeking exceptional, sculptural pieces now have access to work rooted in 40+ years of artistic refinement. The studio now serves both interior and garden spaces, each one demanding the same meticulous craft.
