Zeppelin Console Table

The Zeppelin Console takes the dynamic sculptural language of its side table counterpart and amplifies it to breathtaking effect, two pairs of hand-forged steel spars, each crossing and converging at a central pinch point before splaying outward again to the floor, creating a pair of supports that seem to defy their own weight with an almost aerodynamic confidence. The inspiration remains rooted in early aviation, those extraordinary structures of tapered steel and engineered tension that made flight possible, but at console length the crossing forms take on an additional grandeur, the two supports working together to create a rhythm and symmetry that is deeply satisfying from every angle. Finished in gold leaf, the hand applied surface catches the light with a warmth and luminosity that shifts across the day, the natural variation in the gilding giving the metalwork an organic vitality no factory finish could replicate. The clean limestone top sits above this extraordinary base with complete composure, its pale, understated surface allowing the golden bronzework to remain the undisputed focal point of the room.
