Console TablesThe Manhattan Demi Lune Console was designed around an obsessive pursuit of elegance, the idea that a console could have the poise and delicacy of fine jewellery. Four slender legs curve inward from the floor before sweeping out to meet a small central collar, a detail of real precision that ties the composition together, then continue upward to meet the semicircular apron with gently arching brackets.
The form references neoclassical tripod bases, those perfectly balanced structures the great eighteenth-century silversmiths understood intuitively, yet arrives at something entirely its own. Lighter, more linear, more contemporary in resolution.
Finished in Tudor silver, a cool and beautifully complex tone that shifts between pale pewter and champagne depending on light, the surface adds subtle vitality. The limestone top completes the demi lune form with quiet confidence.
