De Vere Demi Lune Console Table

The De Vere Demi Lune Console is a reinterpretation of the cabriole leg, that gently swelling, double-curved form that has been the hallmark of quality cabinetmaking since the eighteenth century. Here it is rendered entirely in hand-forged steel, the familiar swell and taper captured in flamed bronze with a warmth and fluidity that makes the legs appear almost in motion, poised, balletic, full of restrained energy.

Four legs carry the semicircular limestone top with ease and confidence, each one finished with the subtle texture that gives the bronze its characteristic depth and life. The result is a piece that holds its classical references lightly and wears them with complete assurance—equally at home in a grand Georgian hallway or the most considered contemporary interior.
