Franklin Textured Console Table

The Franklin was born from a fascination with the tension between the refined and the raw.  I wanted to design a console of real poise and slender elegance, but one that revealed its handmade soul the closer you looked. The frame is deliberately spare and linear, its long tapered legs and clean apron giving the piece a quiet, understated confidence, yet every surface has been worked by hand to create an all over pitted texture that catches the light in a way that is endlessly varied and alive. Finished in hot metal brass, the frame glows with a warm, mottled richness, dark recesses contrasting with brighter raised surfaces to create a depth that no manufactured finish could replicate. The brown suede style top adds a final layer of tactile sophistication, its soft, warm tone sitting in perfect harmony with the brass work beneath.
