Claridge Side Table

The Claridge was born from a deep admiration for the Art Deco interiors of London’s great hotels, those extraordinary spaces where geometry was elevated to an art form and every surface, every grille, every panel was treated as an opportunity for considered decorative expression. The cylindrical frame is built from a repeating pattern of interlocking rectangular forms that wrap around the full circumference of the piece, creating a fretwork of real complexity and rhythm that shifts and changes as you move around it, revealing new compositions of light, shadow and negative space from every angle. Finished in bitumen silver, cool, luminous and utterly in keeping with the piece’s Art Deco spirit, the metalwork has a precision and crispness that speaks of hours of careful hand finishing in our Somerset studio. Dark wood tops at both the upper and lower levels anchor the design with warmth and depth, the rich ebony tone contrasting beautifully with the pale silver work of the frame.
