The Dorchester was designed with one of London’s most storied addresses in mind, a piece that carries the same sense of timeless, considered luxury that defines the great hotel interiors of Park Lane, where every material is chosen for its depth and longevity rather than passing fashion. The base is a study in refined geometric simplicity, three slender legs meeting a low cruciform foot that gives the piece a stability and visual anchor without adding a single unnecessary element, finished in blackened bronze whose cool, dark tones bring a depth and gravitas that warmer finishes simply cannot match. The circular Marron Imperial marble top, with its extraordinary web of golden and russet veining across a deep brown ground, is the centrepiece of the design, a stone so inherently beautiful that it needed a frame of complete restraint to show it at its best. Available as a single, a pair of two differing heights or as a nest of three. The Dorchester offers an interior flexibility that is rare in a piece of this quality.
