Narwhal Demi Lune Console Table

The Narwhal Demi Lune Console brings together two of the most enduring and beautiful forms in our collection, the sinuous, spiralling twist of the Narwhal leg and the graceful semicircular profile of the demi lune, in a pairing that feels entirely natural, as though the two were always destined to meet. Four hand forged spiral legs, each one wound with the same hypnotic helical rhythm that defines the Narwhal family, taper to fine points at the floor while the curved apron that connects them carries the same twisted detail in a continuous band around the full arc of the piece, creating a console of extraordinary decorative richness and consistency. The effect is at once classical and entirely singular, referencing the twisted columns of baroque church interiors and the rope twist details of Regency silverware, yet arriving somewhere completely its own. Finished in bitumen silver, a cool and luminous tone that plays brilliantly across the faceted surfaces of the twisted steel, the metalwork shimmers with a quiet, pewter like beauty that changes throughout the day. The Jura Beige stone top, with its warm, fossil rich surface, sits above the silver work in a pairing of complementary tones that is deeply considered and very beautiful.
