Narwhal Side Table

The Narwhal takes its name from that most extraordinary of natural forms, the long, spiralling tusk of the Arctic whale, a structure that manages to be simultaneously purposeful and impossibly beautiful. It was that helical twist, repeating and rhythmic yet entirely organic, that I wanted to bring into the legs of this piece, each one formed from a hand forged spiral of steel that winds its way from floor to frame with a mesmerising, tactile quality that makes the Narwhal design unlike anything else in our collection. With the frame finished in bitumen silver, a cool, luminous tone that shifts between pewter and pale champagne depending on the light, the twisted legs create a play of light and shadow that is endlessly alive. The glass top allows the full drama of the base to remain visible from every angle, letting the silverwork breathe and shimmer beneath. Available also as a luxury coffee table and a luxury console table.
