Hammered Bronze Side Table with Shelf

The Hammered Side Table with Shelf began with a straightforward question – how do you add function to a side table without compromising its integrity as a piece of design? The answer, arrived at after considerable time in the studio, was to introduce a mid-level shelf that sits within the frame as a natural extension of the structure rather than an afterthought, its horizontal rails becoming a considered part of the overall composition. Every surface of the hand forged steel frame has been worked by hand to create the allover dimpled texture that defines our hammered collection, finished here in a rich flamed bronze whose deep, complex tones deepen and develop beautifully with age. The limestone top provides a clean, pale surface above, while the optional glass shelf below adds a practical layer of display or storage space without interrupting the openness of the frame, a subtle but genuinely useful detail that makes this one of the most versatile pieces in our collection.
