The Hammered Console grew out of my fascination with the marks that making leaves behind, the idea that every strike of a hammer is a signature, and that a surface alive with texture tells a more honest and interesting story than a smooth one ever could. Every face of the steel frame has been worked by hand, creating an allover dimpled texture that catches light across its entire surface, giving the gun metal grey finish a depth and complexity that shifts throughout the day as the light changes around it. Clean, architectural lines keep the overall form disciplined and refined, allowing the handmade surface to do the talking.

All pieces from our Somerset studio, are handmade to order to your exact specifications and available in bespoke sizes with a choice of finishes and tops.
