Narwhal Console Table

The Narwhal Console is the full expression of the design that defines our Narwhal family, the helical twist rendered at console scale, where the full length of the apron becomes a continuous, unbroken ribbon of spiralling steel that runs from leg to leg in a band of extraordinary decorative intensity. Each of the four legs winds with the same mesmerising rhythm, the hand forged twist catching the bitumen silver finish from every angle and creating a constantly shifting play of light and shadow that makes the piece feel almost kinetic, as though the metal is still in motion, still being shaped. The detail references the great traditions of twisted ironwork found in the gates and railings of European palaces and country houses, yet arrives at something entirely contemporary in its resolution and confidence. The Marron Imperial marble top is the crowning element, its deep, tobacco brown ground threaded with an intricate lacework of cream and gold veining that spreads across the surface with a richness and complexity that only nature can produce, the warmth of the stone providing a stunning counterpoint to the cool luminosity of the silver metalwork beneath.
