Sculptural Side Table

There is something almost architectural about a table that is taller than it is wide, and it was precisely that sense of vertical drama that drove the design of The Sculptural Side Table.  I wanted to create something with the poise of a stem and the quiet authority of a plinth, a piece that earns its place in a room not through decoration but through pure proportion. Four hand-forged legs, each one tapered to a fine point, rise from the floor with a reed like slenderness before meeting a circular collar that cradles the top with understated precision. The subtle hammered texture running the length of each leg catches the flamed bronze finish beautifully, adding a warmth and complexity to the surface that makes this far more than a simple occasional table. Topped with a round limestone slab whose soft, natural grain complements the bronze work perfectly.
