Frame Finishes and Materials

Our bespoke tables and furniture are created with a steel frame to give maximum strength and durability to the framework.

Hot Metal Spray Bronze – our signature finish

We coat the steel frames with a vapourised hot metal bronze spray using a special machine normally used to paint oil rigs. This gives the frames a fine coating of metal, rather than a metal paint. The result is a hard-wearing and durable finish that is cold to the touch as you would expect from metal.

Unlike traditional bronze paint or plating, our hot metal spray process creates an authentic bronze surface that develops a natural patina over time.

This aerospace-grade coating technique ensures your furniture maintains its beauty for decades, even in high-traffic areas.

Adding different chemicals to the spray allows us to create a variety of effects, textures and colours that can be customised to your tastes.

Gold & Silver Leaf Finishes

We offer a beautiful range of furniture finishes from gold and silver leaf to specialist metallic pigment paints and our favourite Flamed Bronze which is a hot metal sprayed bronze which fuses with the raw steel creating our unique bronze finish, it is highly durable and perfect for high use areas.

Bespoke Table Top Materials

For our bespoke table tops, we use either marble, limestone or glass.

Marble Table tops

Marble is a metamorphic rock that is formed when limestone is subjected to high pressure and heat. It is composed primarily of calcite, a type of calcium carbonate, and is prized for its beauty and durability. Marble has a smooth, polished surface and is available in a wide range of colours, including white, black, pink, and green.

Popular marble choices include Carrara (classic white with grey veining), Calacatta (dramatic white with bold veining), and Nero Marquina (deep black). We can source any marble variety to match your interior.

Marble tops are sealed to protect against staining while maintaining their natural lustre.

Limestone table tops

Limestone is a sedimentary rock that is formed from the remains of shells, coral and other marine organisms. It is composed primarily of calcite.  Limestone has a more porous and rougher surface compared to marble.

Limestone offers a softer, more organic aesthetic than marble. Its subtle texture and warm tones complement bronze beautifully, creating a cohesive natural look.

Available in cream, beige, grey and darker tones. Sealed for durability while preserving its natural character.

Glass table Tops (clear, low-iron and coloured)

Clear glass is made of silica, soda ash, and limestone, and it has a blue tint due to the presence of iron oxide. Low-iron glass is made with less iron oxide, so it has a more transparent appearance. It appears almost crystal clear, and it has less of a greenish-blue tint compared to regular clear glass.

Low-iron glass is also known as “extra clear glass” or “optically clear glass” because it is greenish.

Coloured glass is made by adding metallic salts during the manufacturing process. These salts absorb light in specific wavelengths, which causes the glass to appear coloured. The specific colour of the glass depends on the type and number of salts used. For example, cobalt chloride is used to produce blue glass, while copper oxide is used to produce red glass.

Bespoke wood tops

Wood tops are also available on request, and we are able to match to a sample or image you might have.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between marble and limestone?

Marble offers a polished, formal look with distinctive veining, while limestone has a softer, more textured appearance. Both are durable when properly sealed.

Can the bronze finish be customised?

Yes, we can adjust the patina, colour and texture by adding chemicals during the spray process.

Will my bronze furniture change over time?

Natural bronze develops a living patina that adds character. We can seal it to maintain the original finish or let it age naturally.

What’s the difference between clear and low-iron glass?

Clear glass is made of silica, soda ash, and limestone, and it has a blue tint due to the presence of iron oxide. Low-iron glass is made with less iron oxide, so it has a more transparent appearance. It appears almost crystal clear, and it has less of a greenish-blue tint compared to regular clear glass.

Low-iron glass is also known as “extra clear glass” or “optically clear glass” because it is greenish.

Can you match a specific stone or finish I’ve seen elsewhere?

Absolutely. Send us a sample or image and we’ll source matching materials.
